CLAIO conferences
The Latin-Iberoamerican Conference on Operations Research takes place biannually since 1982 in different Latin American cities and is sponsored by the Association of Latin-Iberoamerican Operational Research Societies (ALIO). The first CLAIO took place in 1982, Rio de Janeiro. Their main goals are to further the exchange of experiences; to contribute, establish, and deepen ties between researchers and practitioners in the region and to help young undergraduate and graduate students in their professional development. The last editions took place in Lima (Perú), September 24th to 27th, 2018.
Publications
Associated to the conference, two different publications have been approved:
- Proceedings Book: attendants will have the opportunity of submitting a short paper of their contribution (6-12 pages) that after the reviewing process will be published in the Springer Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics series. This series has been indexed by SCOPUS, so it is expected that CLAIO2020 proceedings will also be indexed. More information here
- The international journal Annals of Operations Research is editing a special issue on the occasion of the CLAIO2020 conference. More information here.
